“We address this appeal to our brothers in Iran and the rest of the Axis of Resistance: a near and definitive deadline must be set to end the ceasefire violations across all of Lebanon — in the South, the Dahieh, and the Bekaa. Otherwise, it becomes your duty, your interest, and our right upon you to return to the ‘Unity of Fronts’ through military action. Unity of fronts cannot remain limited to politics, media statements, and praise.
We will continue fighting whether you stand with us or whether we remain alone. But we remind you that those who delayed supporting Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) in Karbala, and stayed behind in Medina and Mecca, were not spared. They later became victims of the Massacre of al-Harra in Medina, where the Qur’an reciters were killed, women were violated, and the city was ravaged for three days. Had those who remained in Medina fought alongside Imam Hussein, they might have been able to reform the الأمة الأمة and purify Islam from corruption. Yet Imam Hussein triumphed in both this world and the hereafter despite his martyrdom, while those who remained behind in Medina lost at least in this world; as for the hereafter, it rests with God Almighty.
Do not be like the people of Medina, for we have always been — and will remain — the people of Karbala. Let our displaced people also take initiative, mobilize, and demand the restoration of the Unity of Fronts.
