On June 24, journalist Hadley Gamble published a summary on the "X" platform of what she described as an exclusive interview with the new Iraqi Prime Minister in Baghdad; however, the full interview has not been published yet.

According to her post, the Prime Minister confirmed that:

American companies will receive top priority for investment in Iraq.

Allocation of 500,000 barrels per day of Iraqi oil to refill the US Strategic Petroleum Reserve, which is equivalent to approximately 182.5 million barrels annually.

Iraq will consider suspending its membership in OPEC if it is prevented from producing according to its capacity.

"Choking" corruption.

Disarming armed factions by September 30, coinciding with the departure of the last US troops.

These statements preceded by just a few days a series of rapid developments in Baghdad... As for whether it was a mere coincidence or if what is happening is part of a larger picture, the coming days may reveal.
