A Multinational Force for Gaza is Now Taking Shape in Southern Israel
A multinational force reportedly being prepared for deployment into Gaza is taking shape at the Civil-Military Coordination Center (CMCC) in Kiryat Gat, according to Hebrew-language media, including Channel 15.
Troops from Morocco and Kosovo have already arrived, while Moroccan units have reportedly completed initial training focused on coordination and joint operations.
More contingents are expected in the coming weeks, including forces from Albania, Kazakhstan, Burundi and Uganda.
Indonesia, however, appears to be reconsidering its involvement. Jakarta has reportedly slowed its planned deployment while reassessing the mission’s political and security conditions.
The Kiryat Gat facility is emerging as a staging ground where logistics, security arrangements and humanitarian coordination are being organized before troops move into designated areas of Gaza.
The key question is no longer simply which countries are sending troops.
It is what role this force will play inside Gaza — and who will ultimately command it. What role will Hamas play ?
If deployed, the mission could mark a major step toward an internationally backed security structure for post-war Gaza.
