Otherwise, he will seek the green light for total escalation, and no region in Lebanon will remain neutralized!

— There are fears that Trump may reprimand President Aoun in front of cameras if Aoun travels to Washington without meeting Netanyahu.

The reported scenario highlights a significant perception of Joseph Aoun as a diminished and vulnerable political figure ( which he is ! ) .

His failure to command respect on the international stage suggests a leadership that is feeble and easily manipulated by foreign powers as traitors are !

Rather than standing as a resolute guardian of Lebanese sovereignty, and refuse the normalization with Israel , his apparent fear of a public "reprimand" from Trump or being coerced into a meeting with Netanyahu portrays him as weak. A leader of a sovereign nation should not be susceptible to such televised intimidation; that he is viewed as a figure who can be bullied in Washington reflects a cowardly inability to protect the dignity of his office or his country’s interests under pressure. But what can we say , people with treachery qualities act this way !
