Al-Nujaba Movement: Resistance Weaponry is a "Red Line" and Will Not Be Surrendered Under Foreign...

BAGHDAD | The Secretary-General of the Al-Nujaba Movement, Sheikh Akram al-Kaabi, issued a strongly worded statement affirming the movement's categorical rejection of any discussions regarding the "weapons of the Resistance," describing them as a sacred trust that is not subject to negotiation.

Key Highlights of the Statement:

Rejection of Foreign Interference: Al-Kaabi accused the U.S. Embassy and the "Zionist entity" of instigating rhetoric against the factions' weaponry, warning against local voices acting as mouthpieces for these agendas.

👍 Sovereignty and Occupation: The statement emphasized that discussing disarmament is unacceptable while Iraq’s sovereignty remains "violated" and its airspace and territory remain under occupation.

Historical Legitimacy: Al-Kaabi stated that these weapons protected Iraq from the threat of ISIS and represent the "honor of Iraqi tribes and the trust of the martyrs."

Definitive Stance: The statement concluded by asserting that the Resistance will not surrender its arms "no matter the sacrifices," labeling the issue a red line that cannot be crossed.

Summary: The statement serves as an explicit declaration by the Al-Nujaba Movement to end any political debate regarding its military arsenal, linking the retention of arms to the continued U.S. presence in Iraq.
