Ansarallah has released footage it says documents the launch of a ballistic missile toward three armored vehicles, reportedly carrying commanders affiliated with the Saudi-backed Presidential Leadership Council (PLC).
The vehicles shown in the footage:
Two NIMR AJBAN 450 armored vehicles
One NIMR AJBAN 440A armored vehicle
All three vehicles are manufactured by the UAE-based NIMR and have been supplied to Yemeni forces aligned with Abu Dhabi.
What does this mean?
The exclusive presence of UAE-supplied armored vehicles raises the possibility that the strike targeted a UAE-backed faction within the anti-Ansarallah camp, rather than a force directly backed by Saudi Arabia.
Given the divisions within Yemen’s anti-Ansarallah camp, this distinction is significant: Saudi Arabia and the UAE support different—and at times competing—local forces operating under the broader PLC umbrella.
The battlefield message is clear:
Ansarallah is seeking to demonstrate its ability to locate and strike gatherings involving senior commanders of opposing forces, even within a camp already marked by deep internal divisions and rivalries.
