Axis of Resistance Perspective

For the Axis of Resistance, the Islamab ad talks are viewed with deep suspicion, interpreted as a Western attempt to isolate Iran from its regional partners and dismantle its deterrence infrastructure under the guise of diplomacy.

The demand for Iran to completely abandon enrichment rights is seen not just as a national security threat to Iran, but as a move to neutralize the strategic depth of the entire alliance. Hezbollah and Iraqi factions are likely watching closely to see if the economic pressure of the blockade forces Tehran to concede on the Palestinian or Lebanese fronts. Any sign of Iran agreeing to a long-term suspension of nuclear activities could be perceived by hardline elements as a strategic retreat, potentially causing internal friction. Conversely, should talks collapse, the Axis is fully prepared to resume an attritional posture, threatening regional stability from South Lebanon to Yemen .
