BREAKING: Trump Drops New Map – “NEW U.S. TERRITORY” +1 Again!

Folks, after getting roasted last week, our dear Donny just posted this gem on Truth Social (Aug 18, 2026) – casually labeling the Strait of Hormuz as “NEW U.S. Territory.”
Geography teachers everywhere are screaming
Since when is an international waterway between Iran and Oman up for grabs with a single JPG? By that logic, I could circle my backyard on Google Maps, write “NEW Galactic Empire,” and declare myself Emperor of the Universe. The only difference – I’d be joking. He isn’t.
Last week’s damage control? Gone.
On Aug 14, he chuckled at a Long Island event and said
“it’s true”
– only for White House aides to rush out and claim he was
“just kidding.”
Today’s map proves otherwise: the “
joke
” is now official policy (at least in his head).
Iran’s response was crisp: “
Delusional
.” Their deputy foreign minister put it bluntly:
“The Strait of Hormuz is not taken by a tweet, a carrier, or a speech.”
Quick recap of Trump’s Geography 101:
· March: Tried to rename it “American Strait”
· April: Changed to “Trump Strait” on a map
· July: Declared himself “Guardian of the Strait” – with a 20% toll for passing ships
· Today: Just annexes it outright – “Mine!”
From “51st state Canada” to “buying Greenland” to “taking over Gaza” – Trump’s territorial empire relies on PowerPoint and phone filters.
Reality bites hard
20% of global oil flows through here. Traffic has already plunged 90%. The U.S. Navy struggles to keep normal transits. Meanwhile, Iran has a $30,000 bounty out for capturing American sailors – so whose strait is it, really?
A map can express ambition, but it cannot create sovereignty.

Bottom line: Trump’s “new territory” is about as real as his bleach-cure for COVID.
