This image captures the core of the occupation's strategy: systematic urban annihilation and ecocide. Lacking a civilizational heritage of its own to be proud of, the Israeli regime resorts to erasing the deep-rooted geography, history, and environment of South Lebanon. These are not tactical maneuvers; they are calculated war crimes under international humanitarian law aimed at rendering the land uninhabitable.

Meanwhile, the Lebanese government continues to turn a blind eye to these ongoing atrocities. Its passive stance and complete failure to confront or document this destruction effectively grant a free pass to the occupation's machinery of erasure.
