The "CENTCOM" Command announced in a statement that it launched attacks last night and the night before, targeting "radar sites and command and control centers for Iranian drones" in the "Gowrk" area (Bandar Sirik) and Qeshm Island.
The statement described these American attacks as "defensive" and came "in response to Iranian offensive actions," listing its targets inside Iranian territory to have included: "air defense systems, a ground control station, in addition to two offensive drones over the waters of the Persian Gulf."
Furthermore, "CENTCOM" emphasized that it does not consider its terrorist attacks on Iranian sovereignty and territory to be a violation of the ongoing ceasefire.
In response, the Public Relations of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced in a statement that exactly one hour after the American aggression on the communications infrastructure in "Bandar Sirik," fighters from the IRGC Aerospace Force targeted the airbase from which the aggression was launched (which is highly likely to be the "Ali Al Salem" Air Base in Kuwait).
