News reported hours ago that consecutive explosions were heard in areas west of the Iranian capital, Tehran, in addition to similar sounds heard toward the neighboring city of Karaj.
According to initial indications, the source of some of these sounds is due to the activation of air defense systems, which began responding to targets at several points.
In the same context, some sources spoke of the possibility of attacks launched by the Zionist entity targeting sites in Tehran, Isfahan, Tabriz, along with some other points in western Iran.
So far, no accurate official statements have been issued determining the primary origin and the extent of the damage resulting from these explosions.
Spokesperson for the Central Headquarters of Khatam al-Anbiya:
