Veteran Belgian journalist Elijah J. Magnier has revealed the contents of a hidden security annex within the Washington-mediated agreement between Lebanon and Israel. According to Magnier, while the public deal promises sovereignty and reconstruction, the secret annex strips Lebanon of its independence, placing its security and military apparatus under direct US-Israeli control.

Key Revelations of the Secret Annex:

Purging the Lebanese Army: A US-led mechanism will vet Lebanese soldiers and officers using Israeli intelligence profiles. Anyone suspected of Hezbollah ties or refusing cooperation will be dismissed, up to the army leadership itself.

Israeli-Dictated Military Agenda: The Lebanese Army will not operate on sovereign mandates. Instead, it will execute Israeli-designed agendas, target lists, and coordinates delivered via US military teams on the ground.

Joint Israeli-US Ground Inspections: US military teams will directly supervise operations on Lebanese soil, and Israeli forces retain the right to accompany them to inspect Lebanese territory.

Unrestricted IDF Movement & No Withdrawal Timeline: Israel rejects any fixed withdrawal schedule. The IDF retains freedom of movement across occupied territory under the pretext of addressing threats, and redeployment is entirely conditional on absolute Israeli satisfaction.

Weaponizing Reconstruction and Civilian Return: The return of displaced civilians and the start of reconstruction are tied to Israeli approval. Reconstruction funds will be used as a political lever.
