Israel has launched an intense military escalation across southern Lebanon, coinciding with the ongoing direct negotiations in Rome.
Distribution of Attacks & Weapons Employed:

Weapon Used: Three drone strikes followed by a fourth airstrike conducted by fighter jets.
Casualties: Eight civilians wounded, with residents fleeing the town.
Tebnine:

Casualties: One person killed and 12 others injured.
Al-Mansouri and the Open Area Between Al-Mansouri and Majdal Zoun:
Weapon Used: Three fighter jet airstrikes carried out simultaneously with artillery shelling and concentrated fire from Merkava tanks.
Outskirts of Kfarchouba, Halta, and Al-Shumays:
Weapon Used: Incendiary artillery shells, triggering extensive wildfires across forested areas and the upper woodland region.
Military Assessment:
These intensive airstrikes and artillery bombardments appear to constitute an immediate operational response by the Israeli occupation forces following the deaths of two Israeli soldiers and the wounding of four others in an improvised explosive device (IED) blast inside a building in the western sector (Majdal Zoun). The escalation also appears intended to shape the negotiating environment through military pressure while the Rome talks are underway.
