Foreign Ministry Spokesperson and Iranian Negotiating Delegation Member, Esmaeil Baghaei:

👍The ceasefire in Lebanon is being continuously violated, while the United Nations takes no action and plays the role of a bystander.
👍The repercussions of this situation will not be limited to the region alone, but will impact the entire world.
Turning a blind eye to the war of genocide shows its clear effect on regional and international peace and security.
👍The international community is obligated to fulfill its responsibilities.
We knew from the very beginning that we were negotiating under a complete absence of trust; the negotiations began amid deep mistrust and severe skepticism.
👍The exchange of messages is taking place in an atmosphere of zero trust and extreme doubt. Diplomacy is not a substitute for elements of power.
Negotiations or diplomacy in themselves are not an indicator or a product of trust between negotiating parties, and we must separate the two.
In light of this situation, where the other side constantly shifts its positions, it is only natural that this leads to prolonged negotiations.
We cannot consider America and the Zionist entity as separate entities; everything happening in Lebanon certainly has America as a fundamental pillar.
Our focus at this stage is entirely centered on ending the war.
🌕One of the dilemmas of negotiating with the current ruling administration in America is the repeated shifting and contradiction in the positions they take.
🌕One of the topics raised in the course of the negotiations is allocating an amount for war damage compensation.
🌕We express our solidarity with the Kuwaiti people and other peoples of the region whose territories are being used as a launchpad for attacks against Iran.
The European Union’s statement supporting Kuwait is a prime example of hypocrisy.
🌕The illegal attack by America and "Israel" on Iran cannot be ignored, while conversely condemning the Iranian response.
The contradictions in the positions of American officials may be part of their negotiating pattern, and if so, it will not work with Iran.
There is a clear kind of indecisiveness evident within the American decision-making system.
🌕We are not seeking privileges, rather we are demanding our rights—and this is an absolute demand.
What Iran received under the nuclear deal was the frozen funds belonging to the Iranian people; no party granted us any money.
👍The release of frozen Iranian funds is an absolute demand, and the mechanism and methods of implementation are currently being discussed.
The negotiating delegation's visit to Qatar was positive and useful.
The mediator for the negotiations is Pakistan, though some countries like Qatar have tried to provide assistance along this path.
👍During this visit, a portion of the financial issues and frozen Iranian funds were discussed.
👍Ships cross the Strait of Hormuz in coordination with the Iranian Armed Forces.
👍Some countries in the region have placed their capabilities at the disposal of America and the Zionist entity to be used in the attack against Iran.
We have our own evaluation regarding the performance of the region's countries, and we view the reports put forward by Western sources with suspicion and doubt.
