Gaza: One of Trump’s Commercial “Properties”

On Monday, the White House released a lengthy peace plan for Gaza, calling for an immediate ceasefire and outlining the region’s future.
The surprise came in the early endorsement of the plan by the foreign ministers of Indonesia, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Pakistan, Jordan, the UAE, and Egypt — before it was even presented to Hamas or any Palestinian factions. This clearly reveals these countries’ complicity with Trump’s plan at the expense of the Palestinian cause.
Here are the key points of Trump’s Gaza plan:
1. Ending Terrorism and Promoting Peaceful Coexistence• Gaza will be a zone free of terrorism and hostility to peace, posing no threat to its neighbors.
2. Return of Hostages and the Deceased• Within 72 hours of Israel’s public acceptance of the agreement, all hostages will be returned alive, along with the remains of the deceased.
• After the release of all hostages, Israel will free 250 prisoners sentenced to life imprisonment, plus 1,700 Gaza residents detained after October 7, 2023 — including all detained women and children.
3. Amnesty for Hamas Members• After the hostages are returned, amnesty will be granted to Hamas members who commit to peaceful coexistence and disarmament.
• Those wishing to leave Gaza may safely relocate to future host countries.
4. Delivery of Aid• Upon acceptance of the agreement, aid will be sent immediately to the Gaza Strip.
5. Transitional Governance and Administration• Gaza will be managed by a non-political Palestinian technocratic committee responsible for public services and municipalities.
• The committee will include Palestinians and international experts, overseen by a transitional international body called the “Peace Council,” chaired by President Trump with international participation, including Tony Blair and other heads of state.
6. Economic Development and Reconstruction• A plan will be developed to rebuild and revitalize Gaza in cooperation with international experts and investment groups.
• A special economic zone will be established with preferential tariffs and fees for participating countries, aiming to attract investment and create jobs.
7. Disarmament and Security• Hamas and other factions will agree not to participate in Gaza’s governance.
• All military and terrorist infrastructure — including tunnels and weapons production facilities — will be permanently dismantled under the supervision of independent monitors.
• A program will be created to buy back and reintegrate weapons, with full verification of implementation.
8. Temporary International Security Force (ISF) and Security Support• A temporary international force will be developed to stabilize Gaza, in coordination with Arab and international partners.
• Palestinian police will be trained, borders secured in cooperation with Israel and Egypt, ammunition entry prevented, and goods flow facilitated for reconstruction.
9. Implementation if Hamas Refuses• If Hamas delays or rejects the proposal, the plan will proceed in terrorism-free zones handed over by the IDF to the international force, including expanded aid operations.
