Global Oil Prices Drop Following Signs of Diplomatic Easing Between Tehran and Washington
Crude oil prices fell from their daily highs immediately following reports that Iran is prepared to enter negotiations with the United States while respecting national interests, easing concerns over Strait of Hormuz supply disruptions.
Brent Crude: Dropped to around $89.07 a barrel after previously surpassing the $91 level.
US Crude (WTI): Similarly fell from its session peak of $84.20 a barrel.
