Hamas Announces Statement Regarding Agreement to End the War on Gaza

Press Statement

Following responsible and serious negotiations conducted by the movement and Palestinian resistance factions regarding President Trump’s proposal in Sharm El-Sheikh, aimed at halting the genocidal war against our Palestinian people and securing the withdrawal of the occupation from the Gaza Strip, the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) announces the reaching of an agreement that stipulates ending the war on Gaza, the withdrawal of the occupation forces, the entry of humanitarian aid, and the exchange of prisoners.

We highly appreciate the efforts of our brothers and mediators in Qatar, Egypt, and Turkey, and we value the efforts of U.S. President Donald Trump in seeking a complete cessation of the war and full withdrawal of the occupation from the Gaza Strip.

We call upon President Trump, the guarantor countries of the agreement, and all Arab, Islamic, and international parties to ensure that the occupation government fulfills all obligations of the agreement, and to prevent it from evading or stalling the implementation of the agreed terms.

We salute our great people in the Gaza Strip, in Jerusalem and the West Bank, inside the homeland and abroad, who have demonstrated unmatched dignity, heroism, and honor, and who have confronted the fascist occupation projects targeting them and their national rights. These sacrifices and noble stances have thwarted the Israeli occupation’s plans of subjugation and displacement.

We affirm that our people’s sacrifices will not be in vain, and that we will remain true to our pledge, never abandoning our national rights until freedom, independence, and self-determination are achieved.
