The blast occurred inside a building in southern Lebanon that Israeli forces had occupied and controlled for an extended period. The structure was booby-trapped, detonating while troops were inside.
Hospital Airlift: Israeli news outlet Hadashot Bezman reported an emergency military helicopter 🚁 landing at Rambam Health Care Campus in Haifa, where three intensive care evacuation vehicles were deployed on the helipad to receive the casualties.
