Iran Considers a US–Israeli War an Existing Reality and Warns of a Major Response if Aggression Resumes!

Al Mayadeen, citing Iran’s Fars News Agency, reported that a senior Iranian security official said Tehran now regards the possibility of a US–Israeli attack as an ongoing threat and has lost confidence in Washington’s diplomatic initiatives.

Washington and Tel Aviv: The official believes that US policy in the Middle East is directed by Israel, which, in his assessment, deliberately obstructs diplomatic solutions. He added that Marco Rubio’s speech in Athens had reinforced this conviction.

Economic and Naval Blockade: Tehran considers the blockade a continuation of military aggression, amid growing domestic pressure to take decisive measures to break it.

Iranian Warning: The official argued that the outbreak of a large-scale war involving assassinations would make the targeting of American political figures and interests, as well as other parties involved in the conflict, a

“legitimate act,”

according to his characterization.

The Observer’s View:

These statements reflect an increasingly assertive Iranian deterrence posture and declining confidence in the possibility of reaching a diplomatic settlement with Washington.

The message is clear: Tehran is warning that any renewed aggression may not necessarily remain confined to a conventional military confrontation.

However, the remarks were attributed to an unnamed official and do not, in themselves, constitute an official announcement of a decision to launch attacks.
