Iran: “No Ship Can Safely Transit the Strait of Hormuz Without Iranian Authorization”

Tehran

The spokesperson for the Central Headquarters of Khatam al-Anbiya (PBUH) dismissed U.S. claims that commercial vessels can freely and routinely transit the Strait of Hormuz, describing them as “lies and falsehoods.”

The statement declared that:

• 🇮🇷

The Strait of Hormuz remains under the full administration and control of the Islamic Republic of Iran, as it has been previously.

• 🚢

No commercial vessel or oil tanker can safely transit the Strait without the authorization and supervision of Iran’s armed forces.

• ⚠️ Tehran stressed that this situation will continue, signaling that the security and operational reality of the waterway remains firmly tied to Iranian military oversight.
