The Public Relations Department of the Iranian Army issued a statement announcing the launch of the 29th phase of “Thunderbolt” operations, in response to the attacks targeting southern areas of Iran.

According to the statement, the Iranian Army launched a series of intensive attacks using suicide drones, targeting radar installations and U.S. troop concentration points at the “Sheikh Isa” base in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

The statement described Sheikh Isa Air Base as one of the most important U.S. bases in the Gulf, serving as a major center for helicopter maintenance and drone spare parts, as well as a base for reconnaissance aircraft.

The Iranian Army stressed that its forces would continue delivering strong and wide-ranging responses to what it called enemy aggression, vowing that the attackers would soon face a severe and costly retaliation.
