Iraqi Journalist Rafif Al-Hafiz Abducted from Baghdad International Airport, Sparking Widespread Condemnation

Baghdad

Iraqi journalist Rafif Al-Hafiz was reportedly abducted from inside Baghdad International Airport.

Fingers have been pointed at the American unit within the Iraqi intelligence service as allegedly being responsible for the operation, amid widespread condemnation and strong denunciations of the incident directed at the Coordination Framework government.

There have also been expressions of full solidarity with Al-Hafiz, who is known for her positions in support of the Iraqi resistance.
