Israeli Aggression in Southern Lebanon
Timeline of the Field Aggression
Dawn & Early Morning | Incursions and Clashes
An enemy force advanced toward the outskirts of Haddatha and Aita al-Jabal, carrying out extensive sweeps with machine guns before withdrawing under surveillance fire.
An enemy Merkava tank directly shelled the outskirts of Haddatha with two rounds.
An Israeli bulldozer overturned in a neighborhood of Eastern Zawtar while attempting to advance, forcing the occupation forces to bring in a second bulldozer to tow it away under heavy artillery cover.
Enemy forces carried out another incursion toward Western Zawtar, constructing an earthen berm by excavating into Lebanese territory.
Midday | Explosions and Systematic Shelling
Israeli occupation forces carried out explosions and demolition operations targeting buildings and homes in Haddatha, Kounine, Eastern Zawtar (around Al-Saha Mosque), Taybeh, Tallouseh, and Houla.
Fires broke out in Kounine as a result of the explosions, while enemy forces deliberately and directly set fire to homes in Houla.
Artillery fire targeted Ali al-Taher Hill (outskirts of Upper Nabatieh) and the area between Dohat Kafr Rumman and Dabshah Hill, overlooking Nabatieh.
Intermittent artillery shelling was recorded targeting Mansouri, Mais al-Jabal, Kfar Tibnit, the outskirts of Eastern Zawtar toward Mayfadoun, Houla, the Mansouri commons, and Wadi Zibqin.
Afternoon & Evening | Phosphorus Shelling and Targeting of the Lebanese Army
Mansouri came under phosphorus and artillery shelling, causing extensive property damage.
An enemy drone dropped a sound bomb toward Mansouri, while a second sound bomb targeted a Lebanese Army bulldozer as it was clearing the road to Mansouri.
An Israeli unmanned aircraft dropped an explosive “gallon” on Ali al-Taher Hill.
The occupation forces expanded their machine-gun sweeps to include Beit Yahoun, Mais al-Jabal, Majdal Zoun, and Bayt al-Sayyad, in addition to intense gunfire from the Radar position toward Shebaa and from the Samaka position toward Kfar Shuba.
Israeli warplanes and drones continued to violate Lebanese airspace, conducting intensive flights at low altitudes over the western and central sectors.
