israel’s Dirty Game: Turning Unverified Intelligence into a War Trigger

Headline: “US could not verify Israeli warnings of Iran plots against Trump, sources say”

Reuters has exposed a deeply disturbing pattern: Israel repeatedly warned Washington that Iran was allegedly planning to assassinate Donald Trump — yet U.S. intelligence could not independently verify the claims.

And the details are remarkable:

CIA assessment: “LOW CONFIDENCE”

U.S. intelligence agencies, including the CIA, were unable to corroborate several Israeli allegations concerning Iranian plots against Trump.

Turkey found NO evidence

Before the NATO summit in Ankara, Israeli intelligence reportedly warned that Iran could target Trump — allegedly with a sniper, knife attack, or even a shoulder-launched missile aimed at Air Force One.

Turkish intelligence investigated the claim.

It found no evidence supporting the Israeli warning and communicated that assessment to Washington.

Yet Washington acted anyway.

The Secret Service launched an extraordinary deception operation in Ankara, secretly moving Trump from Air Force One to a smaller C-32A aircraft through a catering truck while the presidential plane continued separately as a decoy.

All of this happened despite the absence of independently verified intelligence establishing an Iranian assassination plot.

And this is where the political dimension becomes impossible to ignore.

According to U.S. officials cited by Reuters, the repeated Israeli warnings may have been intended to influence political and military decision-making in Washington and push the United States toward tougher action against Iran.

Israel denies attempting to manipulate U.S. policy.

But the question remains:

If the intelligence cannot be independently verified, if the CIA assesses it with “low confidence,” and if even Turkish intelligence finds no supporting evidence — why is Washington being repeatedly pushed to treat Israeli claims as grounds for escalation?

Israel has a strategic problem: it needs the United States inside the confrontation with Iran.

So what better political weapon than the image of an Iranian plot to assassinate the American president?

Turn suspicion into fear.

Turn fear into outrage.

Turn outrage into military action.

This is how wars are manufactured.

Israel does not necessarily need to prove that Iran attacked America.

It only needs Washington to believe that Iran might.

And once the United States is emotionally and politically committed to the narrative that Tehran is hunting its president, the threshold for another U.S.-Iran war becomes dramatically lower.

The most cynical part?

If the intelligence is wrong, the consequences fall on Americans and Iranians.

If the intelligence triggers a war, Israel gets what it has long sought: direct American confrontation with Iran.

The Reuters investigation therefore raises a question far more important than whether Trump was genuinely at risk:

Is Washington protecting its president — or is it being maneuvered into another war?
