Joint US-Israel Offensive:

Israel and the United States launched a massive campaign codenamed "Operation Epic Fury" (U.S.) and "Operation Roaring Lion" (Israel). The operation is described by the Israeli military as being on a "completely different scale" than previous conflicts.

High-Intensity Strikes:

Over 200 fighter jets conducted extensive raids on roughly 500 objectives across 24 Iranian provinces. Targets included missile production arrays, air defense systems, and the Evin Prison.

Civilian Casualties:

Reports indicate significant loss of life, including a strike on a girls' school in Minab that killed at least 85 people. The Iranian Red Crescent reported a total of at least 201 people killed and 747 wounded in the initial waves.

Leadership Targeted:

Strikes hit high-profile locations in Tehran, including the compound of the Supreme Leader. Unconfirmed reports also suggest several senior figures and nuclear scientists were killed in the operations.
