Medico Organization: White Phosphorus and Glyphosate Used in Lebanon Lead to German Company Bayer

A report based on a study by the "Medico" organization revealed indicators linking the white phosphorus and the herbicide glyphosate used in Lebanon to the German company Bayer, the owner of Monsanto.

According to the report, the Lebanese Ministry of Agriculture recorded glyphosate levels that exceeded normal rates by 20 to 30 times in certain areas, while the study confirms the existence of evidence that the white phosphorus used in the war originated from a Bayer facility in the United States.

The report noted that Bayer denied directly supplying the Israeli or US militaries with glyphosate, but it did not deny supplying white phosphorus, emphasizing that these allegations are based on reports from human rights organizations and still require independent investigations.
