Baghdad

Iraqi MP Hiam Al-Yasiri has demanded that Parliament host the Minister of Oil, revealing oil agreements with the United States that involved constitutional violations and gave top priority to American companies—bypassing transparent competitive bidding procedures—including awarding contracts to companies that had previously lost licensing rounds.

She noted that these agreements include placing one-third of Iraq's oil exports under U.S. control for thirty years.
