Mr. Araghchi wrote sarcastically in response to Joseph Aoun, the President/Chief of Lebanon:

"Based on Mr. Aoun's statements, it seems as though Iran is the one that occupied a fifth of Lebanon's territory, displaced a quarter of the Lebanese people, and bombs his country daily."

Many admire our Foreign Minister's quick-witted response. Meanwhile, we are reflecting on the fact that Lebanon has officially entered a ceasefire agreement—as confirmed by Pakistan as a mediator—yet a fifth of Lebanon's territory was publicly lost and Iran remained silent. A quarter of Lebanon's population was displaced, and not a peep was heard from Iran!
