The mutiny within the Israeli military’s “Sabar” Battalion of the Givati Brigade continues to deepen.
Latest Updates:
▪️ Three additional soldiers identified as leaders of the mutiny have been sentenced to 30 days in military prison and removed from combat duty.
▪️ Another soldier, who had already begun his pre-discharge leave, was also barred from combat service and sentenced to 20 days in prison.
Total so far: 18 soldiers from the battalion have now been imprisoned and removed from frontline operations following the mutiny.
The growing number of disciplinary measures highlights mounting internal tensions within one of the Israeli army’s elite infantry brigades amid the ongoing conflict.
