In two consecutive speeches—the first on the anniversary of the birth of Imam Ali (peace be upon him) and at the start of the merchants’ protests, and the second after the recent seditions and the killing of some citizens and security forces—the Leader emphasized a single message: the absence of justice is the fundamental wound in society**.

In the first speech, he said:

> “For over a thousand years, the Shi’a have not had the opportunity to implement the justice of Imam Ali… Today the government is Islamic, and there is no excuse anymore. Justice is the foremost quality for governing society… We must move forward without obstacles toward a program that expands justice and piety.”

In the second speech, he stressed:

> “The fundamental condition for Muslims to save humanity is Abu Dharr-like faith… The important thing is that this faith spreads throughout society.”

*(Note: Abu Dharr-like faith means standing against injustice, protesting the monopolization of wealth, and constantly reminding people of God’s verses.)*

Despite the different contexts and times of the two speeches, the focus on justice remained consistent and essential, showing that the absence of justice is the root cause of current crises, and that the Islamic government is responsible for implementing it.
