At a time when we have long awaited the adoption of the Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) Law, which has remained suspended to appease the criminal, child-killer, and foolish Trump, we are now surprised by unjust amendments that we can only explain as the work of suspicious Wahhabi and Zionist hands operating behind the scenes.
We categorically reject these amendments in their entirety and call upon the honorable and steadfast individuals who have remained firm in their positions to take a stand of dignity, honor, and rejection against these amendments, which weaken, fragment, and diminish the role of the Popular Mobilization Forces.
This is the very least we owe to the blood of the martyr Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis and the blood of the righteous martyrs.
When the Arabs, Zionists, and Americans conspired against Iraq and its sacred sites through their creation, ISIS, and the bombings, slaughter, burning of innocent people, mutilation of their bodies, and displacement of peaceful families that it carried out, their objective was to tear Iraq apart, plunder its wealth, and kill its people.
However, through His grace upon Iraq and the region, Allah raised soldiers from among His servants, embodied in the Popular Mobilization Forces, which constitute the heart and backbone of Iraq and whose doctrine is embodied in the Islamic Resistance.
Therefore, from the very first day of confronting this Takfiri project until the present day, conspiracies have never ceased targeting the PMF. Paid voices of discord have continued seeking to weaken it, and even to eliminate and dissolve it, because they know that it is the sharp sword hanging over the necks of Iraq’s enemies and a thorn firmly lodged not merely in their eyes, but in their hearts.
Accordingly, we reaffirm our unwavering position rejecting these suspicious amendments.
We will accept nothing less than a fair and just law that safeguards the rights of Popular Mobilization Forces personnel, grants them equal treatment with their brothers in the security forces, and guarantees all their present and future rights.
And Allah is the Guardian of the believers.
