On October 7, Ella Waweya, the Israeli military’s Arabic-language spokesperson, published figures that she said summarize the army’s operations since October 7, 2023.

According to Waweya, the Israeli military struck around 100,000 targets over the past three years:

65,000 in Gaza, 28,000 in Lebanon and Syria, 4,500 in Iran, and 80 in Yemen.

In return, she said Israel was subjected to around 10,200 launches from Gaza, 20,000 from Lebanon, 1,200 from Iran, 50 from Syria, and 90 from Yemen.

In the West Bank, the military said it arrested around 45,000 people it described as wanted suspects, seized more than 3,800 weapons or combat-related items, and confiscated more than 46 million shekels that it said had been intended to finance what it described as “terrorism.”

These figures come from the Israeli military itself and represent its official account of the past three years. They are not an independent assessment of damage or casualties.

Three years after October 7, the figures published by Israel itself show just how far the war has expanded — from Gaza, Lebanon and Syria to Iran and Yemen.
