Reproducing the Same Experience

The core of the article is an explicit call to reproduce the same path: nuclear restrictions, promises of lifting sanctions, and relying on a change in American behavior. The same tools, the same assumptions, but in a much harsher context.

🫶The question that remains unanswered: if this vision did not previously prevent the American withdrawal, the escalation, or the war, what makes it today a "declaration of victory" rather than a repetition of the same experience? Zarif refuses to acknowledge the failure of his years at the Foreign Ministry and insists on repeating the experiment. The results are clear: years of losing bets. He was not a successful minister, and repeating the recipe will not create a political achievement. The conclusion is that what is being presented today is not a new vision, but the repackaging of an old one. It is an attempt to turn an exhausting settlement into a "victory" and change the names of things without changing their essence. In decisive historical moments, nothing is more dangerous than error except the insistence on repeating it.
