Rezaei: Strait of Hormuz Will Not Reopen Until the War Ends and Sanctions Are Lifted

Tehran
Mohsen Rezaei, Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, stressed that Iran’s message is clear: the Strait of Hormuz will not be reopened until the United States ends the war and blockade, releases Iran’s frozen assets, and agrees to a comprehensive ceasefire across the region, including Lebanon and Gaza.
He emphasized that the strait will remain closed until all of these conditions are fulfilled.
Meanwhile, the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) welcomed Iran’s position, describing it as an important step toward increasing pressure to halt the aggression and end the blockade imposed on the Palestinian and Lebanese peoples.
