Sanaa Announces Missile and Drone Strikes Targeting the “Sahn al-Jinn” Camp in Marib

The Yemeni Armed Forces in Sanaa issued an official statement today, Friday, August 7, 2026 (24 Safar 1448 AH), announcing the launch of extensive military operations targeting Saudi-led coalition force concentrations in Marib Governorate. 🇾🇪

Key points from the statement:

🎯 Targeting the “Sahn al-Jinn” Camp: The armed forces said they carried out precise, high-impact strikes using a large number of ballistic missiles and drones, targeting military concentrations, warehouses, vehicles, and equipment belonging to the opposing forces at the Sahn al-Jinn camp in Marib, following what they described as detailed monitoring of troop movements.

⚔️ “Escalation for Escalation” Equation: The armed forces stressed that they would continue confronting any military escalation, reaffirming their commitment to the equations of “siege for siege” and “targeting Saudi military mobilizations wherever they are,” while pledging an immediate and forceful response to any aggressive plans.

⚠️ Warning to Those Being Misled: The military leadership renewed its call to those it described as “misled” within coalition camps to leave and return to their areas before it is too late, warning against allowing them to become fuel for external projects.

🇾🇪 Salute to the Tribes of Marib: The armed forces praised what they described as the steadfast position of Marib’s tribes and free men who reject occupation and foreign tutelage, reaffirming their support for them in securing the rights of the Yemeni people and lifting the blockade.
