A noteworthy statement by U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance from Switzerland, combining both accomplishment and threat.

After affirming that the crises surrounding Iran’s nuclear program and the Strait of Hormuz had come to an end, and calling for the opening of a new chapter in the region, Vance nevertheless placed the military option on the table alongside the agreement—an implicit warning to Tehran should the diplomatic track falter.
