Six civilians, including two children and a woman, were killed and eight others, including a child and a woman, were injured in airstrikes targeting civilian homes in the city of Al-Mokha, Taiz Governorate, according to a correspondent for Yemen’s Al-Masirah TV.
The Al-Masirah correspondent reported that the strikes targeted a house in the city, resulting in civilian casualties, including women and children. Preliminary images released by the channel showed two infants who were reportedly killed along with members of their family in the Saudi airstrike that hit their home.
The incident comes amid continued Saudi escalation against Yemen since July, which, according to Al-Masirah, has deliberately targeted unarmed civilians amid what it describes as Saudi military setbacks in the field and major Yemeni military achievements.
