South Lebanon | Daily Escalation Summary – July 18, 2026

Israeli military activity across southern Lebanon on July 18, 2026, included the following:

• Fighter jet airstrikes targeted the outskirts of Al-Mansouri, Majdal Zoun, and Kfar Tebnit.

• Hostile drone strikes hit the outskirts of Zawtar al-Sharqiya and the area between Hadatha and Haris.

• Artillery shelling targeted Hadatha.

• Controlled demolitions/explosions were carried out around Kfar Tebnit, Khiam, Taybeh, Zawtar al-Gharbiya, Bint Jbeil, Hadatha, and the area between Kounine and Beit Yahoun.

• Heavy machine-gun fire was directed toward Khiam, Zawtar al-Sharqiya, Bastara Farm, Buyout al-Sayyad, Al-Mansouri, and Al-Qantara.

• Quadcopter drones dropped stun grenades over Braachit, Majdal Zoun, and Al-Mansouri.

• Farmers were forced to leave their agricultural lands between Ain Arab and Al-Mari.

• Several people were injured in Al-Mansouri following the explosion of unexploded ordnance left behind by previous airstrikes.
