SOUTH LEBANON UNDER FIRE: How Many Gazas Do We Need For The World To Wake Up ?!

SOUTH LEBANON UNDER FIRE: How Many Gazas Do We Need For The World To Wake Up ?!

South Lebanon — Monday, 10 August 2026

Israeli forces continued military operations across the occupied and frontline areas of southern Lebanon today, with ground incursions, artillery fire, house burnings and air activity reported in several locations.

The pattern is becoming increasingly difficult to dismiss as isolated “security operations.” What is emerging on the ground is a sustained campaign that is affecting homes, civilian areas and entire communities.

Field Timeline — 10 August

Morning — Al-Khiam

According to Lebanon’s National News Agency, Israeli forces have been burning a number of houses in Al-Khiam since the morning, while continuing ground operations inside the town.

The destruction of residential property is particularly alarming given the town’s already devastated condition and the continued presence of Israeli forces in southern Lebanon.

Reported impact: Multiple homes burned/damaged.

Casualties: No confirmed civilian casualty figure reported from Al-Khiam at the time of this update.

Morning — Mays al-Jabal / Hawshin

Israeli forces reportedly infiltrated the western outskirts of Mays al-Jabal, in the Hawshin area.

The incursion was accompanied by artillery fire against a house, automatic-weapons fire and a fire breaking out at the location.

Reported impact: Residential property hit and fire reported.

Casualties: No confirmed casualties reported at the time of writing.

Morning — Bani Hayyan

Israeli artillery fire reportedly struck houses in Bani Hayyan.

The attack adds another civilian locality to the list of southern Lebanese communities subjected to Israeli fire today.

Casualties: No confirmed casualties reported.

Morning / Daytime — Ali al-Taher

Heavy artillery fire was reported intermittently against the Ali al-Taher area.

Casualties: No confirmed casualties reported.

During the day — Rabb Thalathin

The Lebanese Ministry of Public Health confirmed that an Israeli airstrike on Rabb Thalathin, Marjayoun district, killed one Lebanese citizen.

Confirmed casualty: 1 martyr

Beirut / Southern Skies

Israeli drones were also reported flying over Beirut and the southern suburbs, demonstrating that the military pressure is not confined to the immediate frontline.
