Statement Issued by the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon

The Israeli enemy army deliberately targeted Lebanese citizens once again while they were on their way to inspect their homes on the Zawtar al-Sharqiyah–Mayfadoun road, under the pretext that they posed a threat to its occupying forces.

This treacherous attack, carried out at 14:40 via a missile strike from an enemy drone, resulted in the martyrdom of two civilians who were directly targeted, and left a third wounded.

The Islamic Resistance reaffirms for the third time that the enemy's actions constitute a blatant violation of the ceasefire, which the Resistance has abided by so far, and notes that it is continuously monitoring these violations.

"And victory is not but from Allah, the Exalted in Might, the Wise."
