Statement issued by the Yemeni Armed Forces

July 13, 2026

The Yemeni Armed Forces announced the execution of a military operation targeting Abha International Airport inside Saudi territory, confirming that this targeting comes as a direct response to the airstrikes launched by the Saudi coalition on Sana'a International Airport.

In the same context, the Armed Forces issued a strong warning to all airline companies, urging them to avoid transiting through Saudi airspace, and holding them fully responsible should they ignore this warning.
