Statement of the Iranian Supreme National Security Council Regarding a Two-Week Ceasefire and...

**In its unjust, illegal, and criminal war against the Iranian people, the enemy has suffered an undeniable and crushing historical defeat. Through the blessing of the blood of the Martyr of the Islamic Revolution, Grand Ayatollah Imam Khamenei (Peace be upon him), the measures of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Ayatollah Sayyid Mujtaba Khamenei (May God protect him), the jihad and bravery of the fighters on the fronts, and especially the historic and epic presence of the Iranian people since the early days of the war, Iran has achieved a great victory and forced the United States to accept its ten-point plan. This plan includes a fundamental U.S. commitment to guarantee non-aggression, continued Iranian control over the Strait of Hormuz, acceptance of nuclear enrichment, the lifting of all primary and secondary sanctions, the termination of all Security Council and Board of Governors resolutions, the payment of reparations to Iran, the withdrawal of U.S. combat forces from the region, and the cessation of war on all fronts, including against the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon. We congratulate the Iranian people on this victory and emphasize that consolidating its details requires further patience and wisdom from officials, and the maintenance of the people's unity and cohesion. During the past forty days, Iran and the Axis of Resistance in Lebanon, Iraq, Yemen, and occupied Palestine have dealt blows that history will not forget. They have inflicted heavy losses on the enemy's forces, infrastructure, and political, economic, and military capabilities, reaching a state of helplessness and despair where the enemy sees no option but to surrender to the will of the Iranian people and the Axis of Resistance. In the early days of the war, the enemy thought it could quickly subdue Iran militarily and spark internal chaos leading to surrender, imagining that missile and drone capabilities would be quickly extinguished. It further imagined that this war would end Iran and open the door to its partition and the looting of its wealth. However, the fighters, despite their grief over the loss of their leader, decided to teach the enemy a historical lesson that would forever strip it of the idea of attacking Iran. Thanks to unprecedented political and social unity, Iran and the Axis of Resistance fought one of the most intense hybrid wars in history against the United States and the Zionist entity, achieving their set goals, inflicting extensive damage on the U.S. military infrastructure in the region, and delivering harsh blows within the occupied territories. Consequently, after nearly ten days of war, the enemy began seeking a ceasefire through multiple channels. The enemy pleaded for over a month to stop the attacks, but Iran rejected all requests and insisted on continuing the war until its objectives were met and long-term threats were removed. Today, we announce to the Iranian people that most of the war’s objectives have been achieved and the enemy has reached a state of historical impotence. Based on the directives of the leadership and the approval of the Supreme National Security Council, it has been decided to conduct negotiations in Islamabad for a maximum period of 15 days to consolidate the results of the military victory within a political framework. Iran has submitted, via Pakistan, a ten-point plan to the American side, emphasizing: organized control over the Strait of Hormuz, ending the war on the Axis of Resistance, the withdrawal of U.S. forces from the region, establishing a secure transit protocol in the Strait that ensures Iranian sovereignty, payment of reparations, lifting of all sanctions, release of frozen Iranian assets, and the formalization of all these points through a binding Security Council resolution. The Prime Minister of Pakistan informed Iran that the American side has accepted these principles as a basis for negotiation.
