Targeting of several "violating" vessels in the Strait of Hormuz

Targeting of several "violating" vessels in the Strait of Hormuz

Tasnim News Agency

Local sources reported to the "Tasnim" News Agency that a number of vessels described as "violating" were targeted while transiting the Strait of Hormuz.

Trump:

"The Strait of Hormuz is open, and will remain open, with or without Iran. We are reinstating the 'Iranian Blockade'—so named because it only stops ships or agents doing business with Iran from entering or leaving.

All other nations will have fair and open use of the Strait. The United States of America will henceforth be known as the 'Guardian of the Strait of Hormuz'.

As part of the Fairness Principle, costs will be recovered at a rate of 20% of the value of all shipments, to cover all necessary costs of providing safety and security to this very troubled part of the world. Implementation and configuration will begin immediately."
