The Chief of Staff of the Israeli occupation army, Eyal Zamir, conducted a field visit to the "Beaufort" (al-Shaqif) mountain range, accompanied by a number of senior army commanders, where he inspected sites and tunnels discovered in the area, according to a statement issued by the occupation army.
During the tour, Zamir emphasized that the area is a strategic location that Hezbollah used to establish infrastructure aimed at threatening northern towns.
Zamir stressed that the occupation army continues to work to remove threats, warning that forces are ready to transition to a "swift offensive" in the event of a breach of the alleged ceasefire agreement, and demanding that the Lebanese army commit to its responsibilities in the region.
