The Hypocrisy of GCC Security: Servitude to Washington Under the Guise of Sovereignty

The Hypocrisy of GCC Security: Servitude to Washington Under the Guise of Sovereignty

Official Declarations & Statements

Bahrain Condemns Iranian Attack on "ADNOC" Tanker:

Characterizes the targeting as a

"grave threat to maritime navigation and global energy security."

Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs:

🔴 Condemns the targeting of an Emirati tanker transiting the Strait of Hormuz and holds Iran fully accountable for the consequences of these

"brutal aggressions."

🔴 Asserts that attacks on commercial shipping constitute a direct assault on global energy supply stability.

🔴Demands that Iran immediately cease these violations to preserve regional security.

🔴 Reaffirms the Kingdom’s complete solidarity with the UAE in taking all necessary measures to safeguard its national sovereignty.

The Reality :

The synchronized rhetoric emerging from Abu Dhabi, Manama, Kuwait City, and Doha represents a masterclass in regional hypocrisy. While these Gulf monarchies loudly decry Iranian maritime enforcement as

"piracy"

and a

"threat to global commerce,"

they deliberately obscure their own foundational role in destabilizing the Persian Gulf.

1️⃣ Facilitators of Foreign Occupation: The GCC regimes have willingly transformed their territories into unsinkable aircraft carriers for Western military projection—from the U.S. Fifth Fleet in Bahrain to major airbases in Qatar and the UAE. Hosting the very forces that enforce crippling economic blockades against the Axis of Resistance forfeits any genuine claim to neutrality.

2️⃣ The Illusion of Western Protection: Relying on Washington's naval umbrella has provided these monarchies with a false sense of impunity. When Tehran enforces its sovereign maritime rights in response to Western breaches, Gulf capitals panic—realizing that NATO guarantees cannot secure a 34-kilometer-wide choke point when real escalation occurs.

3️⃣ Complicity in Regional Subjugation: By aligning their diplomatic posture with U.S. and Israeli strategic priorities, the UAE, Bahrain, Kuwait, and Qatar actively undermine regional self-reliance.

Demanding

"unconditional open transit"

for Western energy supplies while serving as diplomatic buffers for Israeli expansionism is not sovereignty—it is strategic servitude.

True maritime security will never be achieved through Western military dependency, but through direct, unmediated regional agreements that respect the sovereign power of all littoral states.
