The Killing of "Lia Cohen Malka" in Holon

Israeli settler Lia Cohen Malka (35 years old) was killed following the explosion of an explosive device planted under her BMW vehicle while she was driving on Highway 20 (Ayalon) near the Holon area (south of Jaffa/Tel Aviv).

According to what was reported by official Hebrew media outlets (such as Yedioth Ahronoth, Haaretz, and Channel 12), the crime is classified entirely under the category of mafia crimes and family liquidations. Its details are summarized as follows:

▪️ The victim is the ex-wife of one of the most prominent leaders in organized crime organizations (the mafia) in Israel.

▫️ The victim's family and her lawyer revealed that she had submitted several official reports to the Israeli police seeking protection after receiving explicit death threats from her criminal ex-husband, but the police "completely ignored them and did not lift a finger."

▪️ Just one hour before her assassination, the victim posted a "story" on her Instagram account alongside her infant child inside the elevator while on her way to drop him off at daycare, only to meet her death minutes after moving the car.

A Telegram channel attributed to the hacker group "Handala" published a statement claiming that the explosion was a "complex assassination operation" it executed against someone it described as the "liquidation of a senior Mossad official!"
