The weapon used in the shooting attack in Jerusalem

The Carlo is a light submachine gun chambered in 9mm, originally based on the Swedish Carl Gustav M/45.
In Palestine and the region, the name has come to refer to improvised, locally made versions, assembled
manually from pipes and metal parts.
It is cheap and easy to manufacture but less accurate and reliable than original firearms, and is mostly used in close-range engagements.
