The video shows flames rising from the site in a dramatic nighttime scene, accompanied by laughter and comments from the soldiers filming.
▪️ What appears in the video as a massive explosion is, in reality, the destruction of the product of years of thought, planning, secrecy and sacrifice. Thousands of young men and prominent commanders worked for nearly two decades to establish the facility, which had become a source of pride for the Resistance in the region.
▪️ The facility was not destroyed because of the enemy’s intelligence or firepower, as claimed. Rather, it was the result of a failed gamble at the negotiating table. Some continued to cling to a diplomatic track that neither stopped the fire against Lebanon, nor prevented repeated violations, nor halted the imposition of a new reality on the ground.
