Following the massive funeral processions held in Tehran, the body of the martyred Leader set off on its final journey to the holy city of Qom. From there, it will depart tomorrow evening, Tuesday, for Iraq via Najaf International Airport.

The Iraqi authorities have announced plans for a dual-ceremony:

Official Ceremony: A high-level military reception at the airport, attended by state leaders and the Popular Mobilization Forces (Hashd al-Shaabi).

Public Ceremony: Massive processions heading toward the shrine of Imam Ali (pbuh) in Najaf, continuing on to holy Karbala to visit the shrines of Imam Hussein (pbuh) and Abu al-Fadl al-Abbas (pbuh).

Meanwhile, the Husseini processions (mawakib) have mobilized their resources to provide services to the visitors, alongside extensive logistical measures to facilitate the movement of the massive crowds and ensure their seamless transport.
